Lever-Operated collet chuck for Ø 2-30 mm
for collets according to DIN 6343
- Clamping unit ready for mounting to take DIN 6343 split steel or Rubber-Flex® collets
- The chuck is closed manually with a lever. Closing force is transmitted to the collet sleeve by means of balls
- Chuck is self locking
- When Rubber-Flex® collets are used, chuck compensates up to 0.7 mm diameter tolerances of workpieces without adjusting the nose cap
- Simple, balanced design, suitable for increased spindle speed
- Hardening: Chuck body, actuating sleeve and nose cap made from case har0dened steel. Collet sleeve made from a wear resistant high-grade steel
- Grinding: Chuck body, actuating sleeve and collet sleeve ground and lapped
- Quality control: Max. admissible runout at collet seat 0.008 mm. A test chart can be supplied on request.
