Exchange module ER 25 (M3-M16) for CNC die holder
You can't produce external threads any faster!
Our comparison video proves: with the help of our die holder you can cut an M16 thread with a length of 50 mm in just 12 seconds.
This means you are 3 times faster than with conventional thread chasing.
But that's not all: a cutting die has many cutting edges - whereas thread chasing only has one. Therefore, a single defective cutting edge does not play a major role in the cutting die. This increases your process reliability many times over.
The die holder allows you to create precise and cylindrical threads because you cut the thread centrally in the die. When chasing, however, the cutting pressure acts against the workpiece and can lead to vibrations, deflection or even conical threads.
The die holder is internally cooled: the coolant supply ensures that the workpiece is permanently surrounded by coolant. This results in high quality threads and flushes away any chips.
